Its action is based on the permanent integration of the active ingredient into the material during production. This ensures uniform and long-lasting protection across the entire surface – it does not wash off or wear away and remains effective throughout the product’s lifespan.

Ultra-Fresh® antimicrobial and odor control technologies have been providing protection against microbial growth for over 65 years.

Safe and modern formulation

The version we use is based on organic compounds that effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi.

It contains no heavy metals or nanoparticles, making it safe for indoor use and compliant with current European regulations.

In comparison, silver ion-based biocides are now being gradually phased out in the EU due to environmental concerns and potential toxicological risks.

Proper dosage matters

To ensure real effectiveness, the additive must be used at the correct concentration.

Too little may reduce production costs, but it won’t provide the required level of protection.
